Before making a hold, please check to see that the character you are interested in is not already taken, pending, or held.

There are NO challenges. If the character you are looking for is free, then by all means, leave a comment here, stating what character you are holding, listing PBs is optional. Holds last for five days initially, with the chance of one three-day extension if needed (deadlines are in EST time). Once a hold is lifted for a character, someone else is definitely free to hold. Holding more than once character is accepted, as long as at least one is most wanted (bold and in red) and the characters will not interact on a regular basis.

Original characters are not accepted under any circumstances; there are currently more than enough canon and name-only characters available for play. Additionally, in the case of name-only characters, you may find that a few have the same last name in different places among the list; this doesn't mean they are obligated to be closely related. Cousins, second cousins, anything is accpetable and the family history is completely up to the first person who applies.

People marked as NPCs are not available for play, either being their age (future 4th years or younger), because they are the relative of a canon character in play and only being listed so as to avoid contradictions, or because they're OC names made to fill the list (maybe this will change one day in the future). However, there are a few that are open, likely because of being given a position in school or similar.

As the game is filling up, there are certain things that would rather not be seen in a character/application. Consider the following before holding as they are currently want is the LEAST wanted.

In addition to those noted in red, our players would like to see the rest of the Weasley family, more students, especially our prefects and sixth years, and more Purebloods who believe(d) in Voldemort's way.
